The Innova handles all kinds of threads, but the most commonly used threads for quilt-tops at Saybrook Quilting Studio are: Innovatech and Omni for matte finishes; and Glide and Isacord for a hint of shine. Bobbin threads include the above choices plus Decobob and Bottom Line.
Some Considerations...
When choosing the perfect design for your quilt, here are some important questions to ask:
-
How dense would you like your pattern?
-
How large or small would you like your pattern?
-
Which direction should your pattern run?
-
Does your quilt have a theme?
-
Should the overall quilt texture or piecing be most prominent?
